What’s The Difference Between Inactivate vs Deactivate?
There is no semantic difference between the two and their general meaning is the same. Both of these are antonyms of active. they mean;
stop or stop an activity
From the point of view of practicality, there is a little bit of difference between the two or we can say that they have different contextual meanings.
Inactivate: Making something unable to function, often with the possibility of it being activated again in the future.
Deactivate: To shut something down it is non-functional, usually with the intentional intention of keeping it inactive until it can be reactivated.
